Vintage Russian Alexandrite Rosy 14k Gold Ring

A totally enchanting color-shifting alexandrite rests within a rosy 14k gold mounting in this vintage c. 1958-1964 Russian ring. In natural light, the gem appears to be a pale inky blue, but in artificial light, it's distinctly lavender. It completes the dome of the ring perfectly, while stylized prongs and radiant engravings add excitement to the otherworldly focal point.
