About
Oko is a small, cozy shop where jewelry can tell stories about the individuals, cultures, and histories that created them.
Our shop offers a highly curated and unique selection of vintage and antique jewelry as well as engagement and wedding rings. We are here to educate our customers about the jewelry and help you find meaningful pieces to celebrate and honor moments in your life.
Oko (which means “eye” in Slavic languages) is a woman owned and operated shop in the Central Eastside of Portland. Oregon. In our little jewelbox of a shop, you’ll find heirloom pieces with enduring appeal that can be worn everyday. We specialize in Victorian, Georgian, Art Deco and mid-century modernist gold and silver jewelry.
We are deeply committed to reusing and recycling the treasures of the past, and finding new homes for these little works of art while minimizing our environmental impact. As historians and artists by training, we hope to educate and foster an appreciation for the styles and craft of the past, and to give the jewelry a meaningful space in your life and in the lives of the generations to come.
