Vintage Italian Romulus and Remus 18k Gold Pendant

This gorgeous pendant is a perfect sculpture of Romulus and Remus with the she-wolf who rescued them from the banks of the Tiber River. This trio has been the symbol for Ancient Rome since at least the 3rd century BCE. This charm is slightly larger and perfectly rendered with Italian hallmarks from the 1960s. The figures are imbued with that wonderful stylistic balance of ancient art, wherein they feel both expressive and studied.
