Vintage Carnelian Fortuna Intaglio 14k Gold Ring

A delicate carving of the Roman goddess Fortuna is engraved in the surface of a peachy carnelian in this enthralling vintage ring. She is poised holding her characteristic cornucopia in one hand and rudder in the other. The gem has a delectable color variation which shifts from deep orange at the bottom to a translucent pastel cream at the top. This special intaglio is cradled in a substantial mounting of 14k gold with a satiny patina which makes it look more like high karat gold.
