Vintage Art Deco Style Platinum Opal and Diamond Halo Ring

A brilliant and firey blue opal steals the show in this vintage Art Deco style halo ring. From most angles, it is resoundingly aquatic in color, though rich salmon and lavender hues miraculously appear with shifts in light and movement. A halo of little diamonds twinkle around the central gem, with cut-outs in the platinum bringing a floral-like quality to the surface. The rotund under-gallery upholds the ring face with a panoramic exhibition of elongated floral filigree. Dainty shoulders contrast elegantly with the showy display above, capped with three diamonds atop each.
