Antique Czech Austro-Hungarian Oval Old Mine Cut Diamond 14k Gold Engagement Ring

This spectacular antique engagement ring came to the shop from a recent trip to Prague. It features a vivacious oval old mine cut diamond in a unique mounting of 14k gold with an abundance of engravings. The flush mounting on the east and west sides of the diamond keep it safe and secure, while the airy prong setting at the top and bottom allow light to flood the gem. This gorgeous piece is a relic of the Art Nouveau or Secession style that flourished in Central Europe around the turn of the 20th century.
