Antique Victorian Heron & Boar Swivel Intaglio Carnelian and Banded Agate 14k Gold Ring

This remarkable antique Victorian swivel ring features an intaglio of a heron in red and white banded agate on one side, and a boar's head in black and white on the other. The stones are set in a wide belt of 14k gold which lies hinged between a broad ribbed shank. The interior of the thick band holds a beautiful engraving with the date "1-27-[18]52".

-Size 4.75ish can be sized up to 2 sizes but cannot be sized down

-Face measures approximately 14.2mm x 19.4mm

-Rises approximately 9.2mm from finger

-Banded agate with a boar intaglio measures approximately 17.8mm x 10.5mm

-Back of band measures approximately 5mm
