Antique c. 1844-45 Victorian English Amethyst and Black Enamel 14k Gold Ring
We’re all bewitched by this Victorian c. 1844-45 amethyst and black enamel 14k gold ring! 🔮 It has such an unusual design, with a broad face holding a tall faceted amethyst with unabashedly rich purple hues softened by breezy lavender highlights. Black enamel brings out the brightness of the gem as it spreads over the shoulders before giving way to engravings that trail along the entirety of the hefty shank. A full suite of hallmarks and engravings on the interior band are icing on the cake!
