Antique Gold Countess Intaglio Sardonyx Ring

This captivating antique ring features an exquisite sardonyx intaglio of a nine pointed crown, which is the symbol for a countess. Beneath the regal carving is an elegant “G.” Each symbol has been carved into a milky lavender striation in the stone which, once removed, reveals a deep poppy red orange layer below. The prongs are 18k gold and the band, which is likely a vintage replacement, is thick 14k gold.
