Antique Georgian 15k Gold Foil Backed Garnet Earrings

These perfect dollops of Georgian garnet and 15k gold dance lightly on the lobe, showing off the era's characteristic foil backed gemstone technique which gives the garnets an uncanny glow from their cut down collet settings. Little trefoils and singular petals of gold curve around the outer edge of the earrings. The backsides of the earrings reveal a satisfying rotundness typical to Georgian jewelry, and we have added new ear wires crafted in 18k gold.
