Antique Georgian 14k Gold Seed Pearl and Braided Hair Mourning Engraved Ring

This antique Georgian mourning ring is like a bouquet with an enchanting variety of textures and elements. Seed pearls frame the ring face around a rectangular glass window beyond which a swath of braided auburn hair has been placed, somewhat blurred by the antique glass. The substantial ring shank has been adorned with an astounding mix of deeply-engraved designs which travel all the way around the band.
