Antique c. 1898 English 18k Gold Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

This antique 18k gold old mine cut diamond ring has hallmarks which place its origin in Birmingham, England c. 1898. Upon first glance, it reads like a classic flush set diamond ring, but upon a closer look: where ordinarily there would be a single gem, you'll find an arrangement of four tiny diamonds. These little bursts of sparkle and texture are sandwiched between refined ornate designs deeply chased into the shoulders, all of which spreads grandly across the finger.
