Antique Early Victorian 18k Gold Carnelian Intaglio Shield Signet Ring

This outstanding early Victorian signet ring features a powerful face of carnelian bolstered by strong ornate designs in 18k gold. A remarkable intaglio “W” lies at the center of the shield, which has the sweetest sweeping shape to it. Dynamic engravings spill over the lively shoulders, disappearing wistfully in some spots from wear and time.
